Beginning with JMP 18, customers using Active Directory and Group Policies rules can now control JMP using Group Policy Object (GPO) scripts. This allows the customers’ IT teams to set Windows Registry settings that change how JMP behaves.
Chief among these policy controls is the ability to disable the anonymous data usage information. Companies wanting the ability to turn off the Anonymous Data Collection Opt-In pop-up at the first launch can potentially use these GPO Deliverables to accomplish this.
Per management, please ensure the request for the JMP GPO Deliverables meet the following minimum requirements before providing the files below:
- The company is on a Windows Domain and uses Windows Active Directory to manage its end users.
- The company is using JMP 18 or newer on Windows operating system.
- The request is made by the company’s Software Administrator.
If companies meet these requirements, please provide them the appropriate JMP GPO Deliverables based on their language.
All customers get English (EN).
The other languages available include:
- German (DE)
- Spanish (ES)
- French (FR)
- Italian (IT)
- Japanese (JP)
- Korean (KR)
- Chinese (CN)
If a customer does not utilize any of the languages above, then they only get English (EN).
At the present, the JMP GPO Deliverables are located here:

The files are provided in zipped archives based on the language. The archives are small enough you can attach them to a reply via the Service Cloud case management system within Salesforce.
If you have any questions, please ask one of the system specialists in JMP Technical Support.
