I might be missing this option in JMP
but I cant find a tool that calculate skip lot number / sampling plan
most of the problems in manufatring are continuous data and even in the literature I cant find alot of models
for example:
measuring thickness
- now I measure 10 points on each lot (i can measure max of 200 points)
- my average is 100 and sigma is 11
- LSL, USL = 50, 150 (Cpk ~1.5)
how can i decide if its possible to reduce the sampling to 9 or 8 points per lot or introducing skip rate?
there are many options of sampling plan in DOE calculator. but none seems to feet to continuous production
