As a role of test statisticians in drug development, the importance of planning a test design including example design is high. Meanwhile, it has become more difficult to formulate a test design by only numerical calculation, due to an increase in information to be considered, such as various sensitivity analysis, and diversification of test design represented by intermediate analysis / adaptive design. For example, in case of example number design, it is not easy to compare when you want to know the simultaneous detection power of multiple evaluation indexes only by the example number design function implemented in JMP. Although not only a theoretical approach based on numerical calculations but also an approach that combines Simulation is often performed, these results are difficult to understand for those who do not specialize in statistics is there. When showing the results of simulation to the person in charge or the decision maker of the institution to which it belongs, the good operability of JMP and intuitive visualization are very useful. In this study, we examined how visualization function in JMP can be utilized as a help for decision making in examination design consideration. In this presentation, we introduce the results of Simulation and the result discussion process with example number design as an example with demonstration.
