Examples of statistical analysis education and JMP utilization for drug discovery researchers

Knowledge of the correct experimental design method and analytical technology based on it are indispensable for effective and good research.In our drug discovery division, volunteer group formed a circle aiming at improvement of analytic literacy and active study work with nonclinical statistician.It is important to acquire analytical knowledge, but it alone will not allow practical analysis.Living data related to work and tools to realize learned knowledge are necessary.Therefore, JMP was introduced as a tool that is equipped with the method of experiment design method and visualized data and can be analyzed interactively.With the learning of circle members progressed, utilization of JMP on business became active, and the understanding of surrounding about analysis has deepened.Today, more departments utilize JMP, the introduction of JMP Pro also advanced.In this presentation, I will introduce the circumstances leading up to the formation of a circle and the teaching materials that I used, with examples of utilization of current JMP.
