Simulation experience education of statistical model
Keio University Visiting Professor Takeharu Takahashi
Simulated experience education is an education that effectively and effectively learns intrinsic contents gained in a real experience using simulated practice.Simulated practice is an abstraction of the essence of genuine practical skills, which is definitely different from easily superficial and superficial similar simpected practice. The one clearly showing the difference between them is the result of the confirmation of the feasibility to be implemented at the end (the check of whether the designed / planned one is realized), and it is difficult for the latter to succeed.
In the simulated experience education, rational educational materials and curriculum that extract the essence of educational purpose and essence of genuine practical skill and abstract from the peripheral side are required. That is, simulated experience education is easy to understand essence, can be implemented quickly, easily, inexpensively and safely, so that the essence should be understood experientially by it.There are two kinds of teaching materials used for simulated experience education: actual physical simulation (actual production and / or operation) and virtual simulation practice (virtual production and / or operation). In this research, we discuss both aspects and clarify the essential features of both, and discuss the requirements for learning the statistical model experientially using theory and example.
We will introduce concrete examples using error management, systematic management and support of data processing by JMP to carry out the simulated experience education above for the statistical model.
