Import Excel files as batch

Is there a script for selecting multiple Excel or csv files to be imported in to JMP such that all files are concatenated, with a column added identifying the name of the source file?  In my case, all these csv files are identically formatted.  Thanks for any suggestions

Hi Bob,

You don't mention what version of JMP you are using.  This is possible with JMP 11 on Windows.  The easiest way to describe how to do the script is that you should try doing it with the Excel Wizard UI first.  Then, in the resulting JMP table there will be a "Source" script. This will contain the JSL needed to redo the import.  It will provide a guide as to how the syntax works.
