EMEA colleagues came together in Marlow, United Kingdom, for our H2 Sales Meeting with one clear purpose: to refocus, align, and prepare for a strong second half of the year.
A key theme throughout the meeting was refocusing on our customers and users. As CEO Jon Weisz (@Jon_Weisz) emphasized, our success starts with understanding the challenges our customers face and building strong relationships. He also highlighted the importance of face-to-face interaction and encouraged Sales to use opportunities like Discovery Seminars, User Groups, and Discovery Summits to connect with customers, strengthen relationships, and build advocacy.
Learning from what works
Teams from across EMEA shared best practices and customer success stories, from developing Bayesian Optimization opportunities to expanding JMP within strategic accounts.
Senior Account Executive Ferenc Meszanos (@ferenc_meszaros) (Strategic T4) showed the value of moving away from product-focused conversations and instead talking about the customer's challenges and the smart experimentation framework. We also heard how important it is to find advocates across different departments and bring them into the wider JMP community, including Discovery Summit.
As Senior Account Executive Marija Lind (@MarijaLind) put it: “Expansion is the result of many systematic activities throughout the year.”

Putting ideas into practice
Interactive workshops focused on some of the challenges teams face every day: turning objections into expansion opportunities, responding to questions about AI, and using the discovery process to accelerate revenue.
Marketing and User Enablement also shared how teams and programs across JMP can support Sales throughout the customer journey.

Sales is not alone
Behind every successful customer relationship is a broader JMP team that provides expertise, resources, and programs to support Sales and help our customers succeed. That support was very visible in Marlow, with so many colleagues joining us from the US, including Legal Counsel Director Anissa Knox, Finance Senior Director Jason Romanos, HR Director Paul Mastropolo , IT Software Development Manager Candice Gervase, Marketing Manager Gary Catalfu, Marketing Director Jeff Perkinson, Senior Marketing Manager Julie Andrews, Marketing Manager Meg Hermes, Distinguished Product Manager Mia Stephens, Senior Marketing Director Diana Levey, Senior Marketing Manager Amy Bullock, Senior Product Manager Scott Allen, and Pre-Sales Support Manager Peter Hersh.
Having colleagues from different teams together in one place was a great reminder that Sales can rely on expertise and support from across JMP.

Coming together as one team
Of course, the week wasn't all meetings and workshops. A boat tour on the Thames gave us a chance to see Marlow from the water, followed by a tapas dinner with a river view, and plenty of singing and dancing.
We also had time to celebrate successes and anniversaries and simply enjoy being together as a team.
Looking ahead, Sales Vice President Todd Hoffman (@ToddHoffman) summed up the opportunity for the rest of the year: build on the hard work already done and turn that momentum into strong NSR growth across the region.
We left Marlow with new ideas, stronger connections, and a shared focus on supporting our customers and users – and finishing the year strong.
A big thank you to Tatjana Keller (@tkeller) for organizing and bringing us all together.
