Tesla is a world leader in manufacturing, delivering a suite of sustainable energy products including cars, solar panels and batteries. Their mission is to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy. Tesla is a great example of the power of adopting JMP across the enterprise and building a culture of analytics. JMP is used in nearly every engineering group for everything from vehicle design to manufacturing. The Northwest T2 team recently closed a 90-day JMP Live evaluation for the cell manufacturing group. The team is confident this will lead to the deployment of JMP Live across the enterprise in Q2.

MediaTek Inc. (31DEC2021 – HMT T1)
Powering more than 2 billion devices worldwide, Taiwanese fabless semiconductor company MediaTek is one of the leading innovators of high-power, energy-efficient microchips. Having implemented 20 user licenses in 2020, engineers at MediaTek were using JMP to analyze wafer acceptance testing, chip probing and final testing data from different outsourced semiconductor assembly and testing (OSAT) vendors. By late 2021, however, the company became aware its processes for data integration were inefficient; engineers were devoting a significant amount of time to manual importation and data preparation.
"When they asked us for advice on how to solve these data access and integration challenges, we suggested that an HTTP Request could be an ideal solution," explains Orcas Chen. "We collected together several different resources from the JMP User Community and showed them how they might best implement this function."
"Once we showed them how to make their data integration process so much easier, we had the opportunity to extend licenses to a number of new users," adds Eric Wang. "MediaTek decided to upgrade by adding 10 additional JMP licenses by the end of 2021."
MediaTek's engineers are now using the HTTP Request feature in JMP to communicate with their own application programming interface (API), thereby dramatically streamlining the process of gathering data from multiple different data sources. By demonstrating a deep understanding of the customer's data preparation pain point, HMT Team 1 paved the way for growth opportunities and the continuation of a dynamic enablement partnership.
