I first used SAS on a mainframe computer in 1985, and I started using JMP seriously in 1993. I was drawn to its then-amazing graphics capabilities and have continued to use it in undergraduate education and research ever since. I received a Poster Award at the SAS Users General Assembly in 2004. Currently, with the increasing availability of open data from local governments in Hyogo Prefecture and the resulting abundance of open data, I am mainly working on spatial analysis using open data.
