From April 2007: Shizuoka Prefectural Cancer Center Research Institute (concurrent position)
From February 2009: Showa University (now Showa Medical University) School of Medicine
From April 2023: Showa University School of Medicine, Institute for Advanced Cancer Treatment (current position)
In clinical practice, in surgical treatment research for gastrointestinal cancers (especially gastric cancer), we are promoting the elucidation of cancer metastasis mechanisms and the development of ultra-early cancer diagnostic techniques based on histopathology and molecular biology. Currently, we are working on research applying Raman spectroscopy to the medical field.
