Dual-Format Summary Design for Two-Stage Design in Robust Parameter DesignIn robust parameter design, two-stage design is a design method in which deviation decay is performed in the first stage and the average is adjusted in the second stage. This design method is a powerful design method that allows deviation decay to occur first in manufacturing, and then the average is adjusted at the appropriate time. However, the conditions under which two-stage design is possible when there are many Design Units (DUs) are quite high. This presentation proposes a method for easily determining whether two-stage design is possible. Furthermore, it proposes a rational design method when two-stage design is possible.
