Previously, to provide data to various departments within the company, we developed applications for data search and extraction, outputting data as JMP tables. To leverage JMP analysis in more situations, it was crucial to improve the data-providing applications in a timely manner and to be able to flexibly change the UI. In this presentation, we introduce a method developed to solve this problem: an integration technology that launches JMP from a web application and provides tables via ODBC. We will demonstrate how this makes it easy to integrate with JMP from applications of any framework, increasing the flexibility of application design, and we will also describe a mechanism for automating the acquisition of column attributes from a data warehouse and embedding them into JMP tables.
