How can I fill up a column with same name?

How do I fill up a column with 100 rows with the same name, say Group A?

I am using the following but it is not working.

The third option worked for me.

Well, first your script lacks a paranthes in the For loop. And second, assuming you've balanced your For loop, the counter j is not really used. All the script does is adding your list to col2 and since your list only contains one value you will end up adding "Group A" to the first row 100 times.
