These are recordings of demos for the LearnBot, Assistant, Report Chat, and LLM Prompt Runner (not meant to be shared with customers).
LearnBot is a must-have, especially for new users, as it allows people to get answers to questions/roadblocks immediately without having to wait for help from their colleagues, SE or Tech Support. This will certainly help with both NSR and renewals. Three different LearnBot demos are included of varying complexity to showcase different applications. The best way to demo LearnBot is to bring it up organically whenever a customer asks a question during a demo, and allow the LearnBot to answer it live. The LearnBot works well and the results are usually on point because the LLM it uses has been specifically trained on JMP materials.
Assistant provides an agentic experience to using JMP. IMO, this is not the preferred way of using JMP as it takes you outside of the JMP workflow which is where a lot of the value of JMP exists. Also unfortunately, it has a tendency to not work most of the time as the JSL generated by the default LLM (Claude-Sonnet 4.6) tends not to be functional so the experience for most users will likely not be positive. Nevertheless, I have included a demo of the Assistant which goes through a typical JMP workflow or importing data, reshaping, prepping data, identifying top predictors and modeling off those predictors. The example demo I recorded took over 12 attempts before I was able to get it to work properly which again points to demoing it live in front of customers as very risky. There are also cybersecurity concerns with Assistant as it will send column names to the LLM (column names often contain confidential info) so unless the customer has an LLM deployed inside their firewall, I would not recommend using it.
Report Chat is similar to LearnBot but provides context for JMP reports which can be extremely useful for our customers who are scientists/engineers but who may be lacking in statistics to understand the details of some JMP reports. The Report Chat will give a summary of any JMP report and also help the user interpret the values shown in the report. A major advantage to Report Chat over the Assistant is it keeps you in the JMP workflow, fills in the statistics knowledge gap many of our users may have, and it just works as expected.
LLM prompt runner is another add-in which may be useful in certain niche applications where you want to run a sentiment analysis or classification of text/images in a JMP data table.
