A cornerstone for our brand is back
After a Covid-related hiatus, JMP Foreword is back! The new iteration of the magazine will now be published quarterly, serving as a powerful representation of the JMP brand and a valuable resource for users, prospects, employees, and academia.
Packed with thought leadership, customer success stories, and statistical best practices, JMP Foreword showcases JMP’s expertise, innovation, and commitment to helping people solve problems with data.
The first issue features STIPS creator Mia Stephens with advice on thinking statistically; John Sall discusses JMP’s guiding principles; and several users share real-world successes and best practices.
Printing will happen in Cary and shared at events such as Discovery Summits, Discovery Seminars, and JMP Inspire Days. Sales teams can also use the magazine to engage prospects and customers.
Employees can request copies for themselves or their customers using this form.
Redesigned ‘Try’ and ‘Buy’ landing pages improve results
Recognizing the critical role the JMP website plays in capturing interest and turning it into revenue, the Digital Marketing team has released new and improved Try and Buy JMP pages, part of a broader web strategy the team will work on the remainder of the year.
The first focus was the Try JMP page. After a detailed evaluation of the old page, the team determined that several features on the page were creating friction and negatively affecting conversions.
On June 5, the team launched the redesigned Try JMP page. The updated page features a cleaner layout, a streamlined form, and a friendlier user experience.

Key improvements include:
Early results show a modest increase in conversions.
Next, the team turned its attention to the Buy JMP page. The updated page addresses challenges such as unclear paths for new users versus existing customers, limited product visibility, and the lack of customer proof points.
Released on July 9, the redesigned Buy JMP page is easy to scan, elevates product visibility, includes recognizable customer names, and offers a more intuitive buying experience.
Together, these updates optimize JMP’s digital experience for customers and increase the site’s effectiveness as a revenue-generating channel.
We’ll share detailed results in a future issue of the 5 in 5 Global Marketing Update.
Brand-to-Demand campaign launches on YouTube and in video placements
JMP’s new Brand-to-Demand campaign is a partnership with Field Marketing and B2B advertising firm FunnelFuel to build awareness, strengthen engagement, and generate leads among Key, Core, and Strategic accounts.
The campaign begins with a targeted brand awareness phase that features a new video created by Ed Harriss. The video targets YouTube audiences and is supplemented with select online video placements.
Contacts who are deemed highly “engaged” – meaning they watch at least 65% of the video – move to the second phase of the funnel, where banner ads reinforce JMP messaging and sustain engagement.
The final stage, content syndication, focuses on converting high-intent priority audiences and accounts into qualified demand. We’ll accomplish this through targeted delivery of gated content (content that requires a viewer to fill out a form), allowing us to collect detailed contact information to pass to Sales.
The campaign is expected to move hundreds of high-quality contacts from awareness to contact-ready, delivering meaningful business opportunities for JMP.
Protecting the JMP Brand, one video at a time
To help ensure a consistent and compelling brand experience, Global Marketing recently completed a major effort to align some of the most visible videos on jmp.com with current JMP brand standards.
Led by Principal Digital Designer Ed Harriss, with support from Jeff Hudgins and Henry Moore, the team reviewed high-profile videos across our global websites, identified outdated branding elements, including old logos, taglines, and other noncompliant visuals.
In less than a month, the team re-edited 26 major videos, removing outdated branding, adding brand-compliant opening and closing graphics, and updating them in Vidyard to ensure consistency worldwide.
The initiative is part of a broader effort by the Production and Design team to strengthen the JMP brand, and the team is currently conducting a comprehensive global review of brand assets across web properties, event design, social media, and more.

New reference call resources for sellers
Sometimes, the strongest proof point for a prospect is not a slide, a demo, or a seller conversation – it is hearing directly from another customer.
A peer-to-peer reference call gives prospects a chance to ask candid questions of someone who has already evaluated, adopted, and realized value from JMP. That real-world perspective can be especially powerful when a prospect is close to a decision but still needs reassurance that JMP is the right choice for their organization.
To help sellers set up these conversations smoothly, the Customer Alliance team has published a new, ready-to-use toolkit: Reference Call Talking Points and Email Templates.
Inside, you will find an overview of the process, talking points, email templates, a coordination checklist, and links to the Customer Reference Index, so you know which customers can be referenced.
