We are thrilled to announce the launch of a beautifully refreshed look for the JMP Asset Manager, affectionately known across the organization as the JAM!
Built as our ultimate internal repository, the JAM serves as your one-stop shop for discovering, organizing, and downloading photos, videos, presentations, and files optimized for external use.
This sleek and streamlined evolution of the JAM was made possible through a collaborative effort between the JMP Communications team, Ryan Gilmore, and Ryan Clare, whose incredible hard work and dedication brought it to life.
What’s new?
The JAM has officially broken out of the photo gallery box! While the previous iteration of the platform only housed images, the newly refreshed JAM is built with maximum flexibility in mind.
It is now your comprehensive library for virtually any asset type you might need for external purposes. Whether you are hunting for high-definition recap videos, final presentation decks, official corporate documents, or traditional marketing imagery, the new JAM handles it all in one centralized location.
How the JAM works
If you want step-by-step help for the JAM, see The JMP Asset Manager (JAM) Help Confluence page.
To preserve high data integrity, accurate categorization, and consistent organization across our external-facing materials, upload permissions are managed by the JMP Communications and User Enablement Digital Experience teams.
Everyone at JMP can view and download assets immediately, but adding new files requires a quick request process.
Need to upload new brand assets? Here’s how
If you have new event photos, videos, or presentation decks that belong in the JAM, please follow these four simple steps:
- Head over to jmp.com/request.
- Select the option labeled "InsideJMP | JAM Assets [Communications]."
- Provide the specific name of the event and/or the clear context for the assets you are submitting.
- Include a secure shared folder link to your items (ensuring access permissions are granted to either JMP broad access or specifically to the Comms team).
Once submitted, please allow 2-3 business days for our team to categorize, tag, and publish your images. For any pressing questions regarding uploads or asset curation, please reach out directly to Allison Hines.
Find what you need
Finding the perfect image or speaker bio is faster than ever with the updated search structure. Locate your assets using these navigation pathways from the left-hand menu:
Looking for presentations, files, images, or videos? Click on Assets in the left menu. Type your event or keyword (example: Discovery Summit) into the central asset search bar and press enter. You can easily refine your results by toggling asset types using the filters.
- Searching for people or bios? Click on People in the left menu. Use the search bar to look up the individual. Pro tip: Search by last name to quickly fine-tune and locate the exact bio or headshot you need.
- Searching by tag? Go to Assets and look at the options panel on the far right. Type your term or browse the listed tags. If you need a new tag created to better track your project assets, enter a request via jmp.com/request.
- Prefer curated folders? Click Collections in the left menu to view instantly recognizable, pre-sorted folders organized by official JMP events.
Your patience and feedback are welcome
The platform refresh is still in progress, with our teams working behind the scenes to upload historical files, migrate content, upload more recent photos, and tag assets to make your search experience as seamless as possible. As we continue populating the repository, we greatly appreciate your patience.
Your experience matters to us. If you notice any bugs, have ideas for improvement, or want to share your thoughts, feedback is always welcome and actively encouraged. Simply use the jmp.com/request form to submit your input.
The JMP Communications team is dedicated to keeping the platform optimized, fresh, and intuitive. Take a look around the refreshed JAM today, explore the new layout, and let us help you find exactly what you need to represent the JMP brand beautifully!
So excited for this! Thanks to the Corp Communications and User Enablement for partnering on such an important tool!
