Kexin recently completed her Ph.D. in Statistics at Virginia Tech, where her research focused on design of experiments and statistical learning. Her work has been motivated by practical challenges in engineering, healthcare, and industrial applications, with a particular interest in developing statistical methods that support efficient experimentation and data-driven decision-making.
Before joining the DOE & Reliability group full-time, Kexin was a summer intern on the team and later continued as a GRA intern, where she worked on constrained design of experiments (DOE). She is excited to continue contributing to DOE research and development, especially at the intersection of statistical methodology, computation, and real-world applications.
Beyond work, Kexin values curiosity, balance, and a sense of exploration. She enjoys traveling, photography, discovering local food and culture, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. At home, her two cats, Louis and Vuitton, keep her company and make everyday life a little more lively.
