Have you ever worried about deciding the design?
I think that the design has something to do concerning the corporate strategy and the development related to the corporation such as product development, such as the daily life of the individual, such as cars, clothes, interior, etc.
In general, there is not much disclosure of survey of image on design by companies.I would like to investigate the design as a research at the university and make it possible to publish the results. We use statistical methods to obtain more objective results.
I will take a corporate logo as an example this time.We extracted images of new and old companies' logos using factor analysis and divided them into groups by cluster analysis.Furthermore, it analyzes it together with the characteristics of logo seen from graphic design such as concrete, abstract, logotype. I would be pleased if you would like to refer to people who think that design is not understood well regardless of individuals or companies.

Choosing a design is a difficult process, is not it? Designs play an important part in our lives, for everything from our personal daily lives in our vehicles, clothing, and interior decorating, to corporate strategies and product development. Generally speaking, image research on corporate designs has not been made public. I would like to conduct conduct research on design at university and make the results public. I use statistical methods to achieve more objective results. In this presentation, I will provide examples of corporate logos. I have extracted both of old and new corporate logos using factor analysis, and grouped them using cluster analysis. I also analyze them together with the features of the logos from a graphic design perspective: concrete, abstract and logo type. I would love for those who do not really understand design to participate, how individuals or corporations.
