Much of the data handled by companies, such as sales figures, inventory levels, and sensor measurements, is "time-series data" that is recorded over time. The situations in which we handle this type of data are increasing more and more in recent years.
This seminar will use real-world time series data as examples to explain, with demonstrations, everything from visualizing time series data to quantifying factors using regression, and then to forecasting and what-if analysis using time series models.
In regression, it's important to be aware of the relationship between preceding and succeeding values (autocorrelation), but by using time series models that leverage this characteristic, accurate predictions are possible. You'll gain insights into JMP's unique handling techniques and tips for utilizing business data for prediction and decision-making.
