Candice Gervase welcomes attendees and introduces the Demo JamInnovation thrives when people come together to share ideas, solve challenges, and learn from one another, and that's exactly what happened when the Digital Operations Salesforce Team welcomed more than 50 members of the local Salesforce community to SAS for the first Salesforce User Group meeting hosted on campus.
The event marked an exciting milestone, bringing together Salesforce professionals, technology partners, and local businesses for an afternoon focused on collaboration, knowledge sharing, and community building. It also provided many attendees with their very first opportunity to experience the SAS campus firsthand.
Hosted in the Global Education Center (GEC), the event showcased not only the strength of the local Salesforce ecosystem but also the scale and beauty of the SAS campus. For many attendees from across the Triangle, it was their first visit, and one they won't soon forget. Several guests joked that they knew they were in for something special when security directed them to drive nearly a mile just to reach the GEC. Many commented that they had no idea how expansive the campus was and left impressed by both the facilities and the welcoming atmosphere.
The centerpiece of the event was the Triangle area's first-ever Salesforce Demo Jam, a lively, fast-paced competition featuring eight local Salesforce AppExchange partners. Each vendor had just a few minutes to demonstrate how their application solves real business challenges, creating an energetic and entertaining showcase of innovation. Audience members voted for their favorite presentations, making for a close competition that ultimately came down to a single vote.

The event was made even more meaningful through the leadership of JMP's own Candice Gervase (@CandiceGervase1), who leads the local Salesforce Administrator User Group. Candice was proud to welcome the community to campus and showcase both JMP and SAS as organizations committed to fostering collaboration and supporting the regional technology community.
The event drew participants from the Digital Operations team and representatives from several other JMP groups, eager to learn more about Salesforce and connect with fellow technology professionals.
Feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive. Participants praised the opportunity to network with peers, discover new solutions from local vendors, and experience one of the Triangle's most iconic technology campuses. The gathering also achieved its biggest attendance since before the pandemic, demonstrating the community's enthusiasm for reconnecting in person.
By opening our doors and bringing together customers, partners, vendors, and technology professionals, SAS and JMP continue to strengthen our leadership role within the Triangle's innovation community. Events like this create opportunities to build lasting relationships, inspire new ideas, and reinforce our commitment to helping the local technology ecosystem grow and thrive.
The success of this inaugural event sets the stage for many more opportunities to collaborate, learn, and innovate together.
