Do you post creative cucumber recipes? Have a favorite self-aware vlog? Even knowing what I’m talking about means you may be in the know about what’s happening on social media channels.
And that means we may want to pick your brain from time to time on what’s trending, what’s past its prime, and what might make sense for JMP’s corporate accounts to post.
Establishing a presence as a thought leader on social media goes far beyond maintaining just another corporate account; it's about sharing genuine expertise that builds lasting credibility.
When we share the deep knowledge and insights that truly drive our brand, we transform from a distant social profile into an approachable, trusted resource people can truly relate to. This shift strengthens our connection with our current community and also naturally attracts new demographics who value substance over noise.
Here's the plan
We’re going to create a list of JMPers who are interested in social media and/or have big ideas that could be fun to try. We’re looking for scientists, engineers, programmers, sales folks, you name it. We’re also looking for representation from all our major regions.
It shouldn’t be a huge time commitment. It’s a kickoff meeting, followed by one-off conversations as we explore campaigns for our social media channels. You can be as involved or uninvolved as you like and as your schedule permits.
If you’d like to learn more or are ready to be put on our list, shoot a note to Maddi Walsleben (@MaddiWalsleben) on the Corporate Communications team.
You don’t have to be an influencer to step up. But if you're interested, you may just become an influencer on JMP’s social channels. It’ll be fun!
I didn't know about dot cakes, but I do love sprinkles! And I appreciate well-run social media campaigns. Looking forward to seeing who wants to help us.
