Every successful user creates opportunity.
As we head into the second half of the year, User Enablement remains focused on helping customers get value from JMP as quickly as possible and continue growing their skills over time.
This month's updates highlight that effort at every stage of the user journey: support teams maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction, new academic resources preparing the next generation of JMP users, active user groups and events connecting our community around the world, and investments in our digital platforms that will make it even easier for users to learn, engage, and succeed.
We're also entering an exciting event season. Registration is now open for both Discovery Summit 2026: Early User Edition and Discovery Summit in Baltimore, creating new opportunities for users to learn from experts, connect with peers, and deepen their use of JMP. At the same time, planning is underway for future Discovery Summits, with the call for content now open for Discovery Summit Europe 2027.
Thank you to everyone across JMP who helps our users move from first use to confident advocacy. Successful users remain our strongest source of renewals, growth, and referrals. After all, the best salespeople we have are successful JMP users.
Technical Support
The Support teams continue to prioritize projects to improve efficiency in our case management system, ultimately strengthening how we document cases and communicate with customers.
Customer Engagement
In October 2025, TS/JET launched a case survey to measure customer satisfaction with their support experience. Below are key TS and JET survey metrics from the first half of 2026.
Total Surveys: 334
- How satisfied are they with JMP support overall? 92%
- Have your issues been adequately addressed? 90%
Snippets from customers:
- Dahlia Watkins was helpful, courteous, and responsive. It is my hope that he will be able to convince the JMP developer team that the issue I am seeing is real and rooted in a software issue on JMP's end (and therefore they will take it seriously and fix the bug).
- JMP Support is always outstanding! Thank you!
- Your team is very reachable, and responses are very fast- they are getting the issue very quickly and solving it as soon as possible. Thank you for all the support.
- We joke that JMP support will be more responsive and have better information than our own internal IT support. This was indeed the case!
- Thanks a lot for the excellent support; I will recommend your software.
Academic
Summer is here, and while summer sessions are underway, user engagement slows a bit. At this time of year, we are focused on gearing up for the new academic year, which begins in earnest in mid-August. Our focus this year is on improving the user experience by better enabling access to resources and filling some of the gaps in our support, and doing so at scale. To that end, we are launching a new academic Teaching and Learning resources page that greatly simplifies our offerings and better aligns our support with the core needs of instructors and students throughout their academic user journey. This will include a new Getting Started for Students mini course and a reorganized Instructional Data Set library. Updates are expected to go live later this month. Other updates include:
- Recently delivering a JMP demo and main program presentation at the 2026 Electronic Conference on Teaching Statistics (eCOTS), a virtual gathering of statistics instructors and stat education thought leaders at universities around the United States.
- Will exhibit and deliver a demo at the 2026 Society for the Advancement of Biology Education Research meeting at Michigan State University. This conference is a prime opportunity to engage with several hundred university biology faculty, all focused on education, and many of whom teach a course with a statistics component.
Digital Experiences
As mentioned in our June 2026 update, we were evaluating alternate platform vendors for the JMP User Community, InsideJMP, and Discovery Summit. Our evaluation is complete, and we have chosen a new vendor. Planning for the migration to the new platform will begin in July. We will provide more details on the migration in future newsletters.

Users groups
June was a busy month for the EMEA User Enablement team, with successful JMP Users Group meetings in Ireland, Belgium, and the UK. Across these events, we reached 197 unique contacts from 99 organizations, bringing together JMP users to learn, share experiences, and connect with peers across industries.
After a well-deserved summer break, we're looking forward to an exciting second half of the year with many more user groups, webinars, and community events across EMEA.
