When you first launch JMP , if you click "Yes, I approve" on the "Request for cooperation in product improvement" screen, you agree to the anonymous collection of data regarding your usage.
You can change this consent later and opt out of the anonymous collection of usage data. Please see below for instructions on how to do so.
procedure
1. Launch JMP (※If you are using JMP Pro or JMP Student Edition, launch it in the same way and follow the steps below).
2. For Windows, select [File] > [Preferences] from the menu; for Mac, select [JMP] > [Settings] from the menu.
3. In the "Preferences" window, select "Privacy" from the list on the left.
4. Uncheck the box on the right that says "I will anonymously submit usage descriptions to help improve JMP," and then click [OK].
