Great news for our sales pipelines and our customers: The JMP Digital Operations team has officially launched the long-awaited multi-subscription framework in the JMP Store!
This extensive development project completely removes the limitations of our original single-subscription model. By moving to a modern multi-sub framework, we are giving customers ultimate flexibility while aligning our eCommerce processes more closely with our standard CPQ workflows.
What this means for customers
JMP Store customers are no longer boxed into a single renewal cycle or contract structure. They can now hold multiple subscriptions associated with the same account. Each subscription is managed independently and features its own products, renewal dates, license quantities, and subscription status.
Once a customer has at least one active subscription, they now have two distinct paths forward based on their organizational needs (learn more on the Multiple Subscriptions Confluence page):
Option 1: Purchase a new subscription
- When to use: When they want to keep purchases entirely separate rather than bundling users. The new subscription(s) come at full product prices.
- Examples: Buying a different JMP product, setting up a distinct subscription for a different department/team, or intentionally maintaining separate renewal dates for different user groups.
Option 2: Add users to an existing subscription
- When to use: When they simply want to increase the license count within a tool they already own, keeping everything under a single renewal date. The additional users are charged at a prorated price based on the remaining subscription time.

What’s coming next
The Digital Operations team is currently launching web pages explaining these new features to customers. Once these pages are launched, an official email blast will be sent to existing subscribers to announce the new flexible features.
Later this year, the Digital Operations team will be rolling out storefront enhancements for logged-in users. This will visually guide them through their multiple subscription options, significantly improving user experience and proactively preventing unnecessary support tickets.
Happy selling! Reach out to IT Software Development Senior Manager Falco Kronmüller (@Falco) with any technical questions about the rollout.
