The Customer Alliance Team is thrilled to announce that JMP is now live on one of YouTube’s leading science channels, Astrum, marking an important milestone in our influencer partnership program.

A natural fit for JMP
Astrum is a highly popular educational channel focused on space science, with over 2.8 million subscribers. Viewers are drawn to its clear, visually rich explanations of complex topics.
Its audience, namely scientists, engineers, and analytically minded learners, closely aligns with JMP’s core user base. This made it an ideal platform to introduce JMP in a way that feels relevant and authentic.
This campaign is part of our broader strategy to embed JMP within trusted scientific content, using creator-led storytelling rather than traditional advertising formats.
Where the ad appears
The JMP integration appears as a mid-roll segment at the point where the episode shifts from explaining unusual early-universe observations to the challenge of analyzing complex datasets. This creates a natural bridge to introduce JMP as a tool to help scientists make sense of large, noisy data.
The ad positions JMP as:
- A visual, interactive statistical discovery platform.
- A way to analyze complex datasets more intuitively.
- A tool that helps users identify patterns and make confident decisions.
Early results look promising
Initial feedback suggests the integration has landed well and resonated with Astrum’s audience:
- Audience retention across the ad saw only a small drop (~6%), which is stronger than typical performance for this format.
- Early traffic data shows users engaging with the dedicated landing page and exploring trial and academic content.
Why it matters
This campaign demonstrates a new way for JMP to reach its audience:
- Contextual storytelling rather than interruptive ads
- High-quality, science-led environments
- Direct alignment with real-world data challenges
It’s a strong example of how we can bring JMP into the conversations that matter most to scientists and engineers.
As one of two planned Astrum integrations in 2026, this is just the beginning. Watch out for the next one in Fall 2026.
