There’s a lot happening this month, and the common thread is our consistent showing up for our users.
Across regions, we have a strong lineup of user events, including Discovery Summit Seminars and user groups, as well as hands-on workshops. These aren’t just individual touchpoints – they’re part of a steady, global effort to support existing users, deepen engagement, and create natural opportunities for growth.
The Learn JMP portfolio is a big part of that story. With everything from Getting Started to Mastering JMP, we’re covering the full spectrum, helping new users find value quickly and enabling experienced users to continue building their skills.
Taken together, all these activities reflect our strengths. We’re going beyond simply reaching users; we are actively investing in their success. And as we’ve seen time and again, the best salesperson is a successful user.
Technical Support
Sarah Seligman’s son Ben, the newest member of Technical Support, arrived on May 4, and all are doing well!

Case of the Month: Since we were previously unaware, we thought you may not know either that there is a clothing brand called JMP The Label. Recently, we received the following request, proving once again that it is never dull in JMP Support!
I would like to kindly request confirmation of the price for a bale of used clothes.
Customer Engagement
JET continues to field a large volume of JMP Trials over the last month. We’re also working to have the Mastering JMP email (mastering@jmp.com) route to Salesforce and have JET serve as the front door for these inquiries. Gail Massari has given us talking points on specific topics to assist with the questions.
Academic
The Academic team recently provided a hands-on workshop for approximately 30 student participants in Carnegie Mellon University’s Data Analytics for Science Immersion Experience (DASIE). The DASIE program, sponsored by JMP customers Dow and PPG, introduces science majors from universities across the U.S. to the importance of data analytics skills, helping them be better prepared for successful careers.
The team plans to deliver a JMP demo and main program presentation at the 2026 Electronic Conference on Teaching Statistics (eCOTS). eCOTS is a virtual gathering of statistics instructors and thought leaders in statistics education, primarily from North American colleges and universities. It provides a unique opportunity to spread the use and impact of JMP in statistics education.
The team exhibited at the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE) Conference in Arlington, TX. The conference is attended by industrial engineering faculty and students, as well as industry practitioners. In addition to a technology demo and a presentation, a total of 40 leads were generated (33 professors and students, as well as 7 industry engineers) through multiple JMP demonstrations at our booth. It was a great opportunity for conference attendees to ask and answer questions and to learn about our no-cost Student Edition offering. The level of engagement and interest was highly encouraging, and we are confident this will lead to new course adoption.
The ENBIS Spring Meeting focused on reliability and was an opportunity for Volker Kraft to present a case study on predicting product reliability, featuring JMP capabilities such as life distribution and reliability block diagrams. (Thanks to Jerry Fish for sharing the data set.)
Digital Experiences
With JMP’s Khoros contract expiring in April 2027, Ryan Gilmore and the team have begun evaluating alternative platform vendors, including Khoros. A vendor should be chosen by mid-June. Once a vendor has been selected, the focus for the remainder of 2026 will be migrating the JMP User Community, Inside JMP, and Discovery Summit site to the new platform.
The team is examining User Enablement-focused email communications to align the analytics and branding to maximize the impact of our communications with users. They will start with the JMP Newswire and a few targeted campaigns related to JMP software authorizations.
When viewing a Learn JMP event, the series and language in which the event is presented are now displayed.
