Good morning,
What do the red lines (solid lines) represent in the defect profiler graphs?
Actually, sometimes two red lines intersect, and when you add the y-coordinate of a point on one of the red lines to the y-coordinate of a point with the same x-coordinate but on the other red line, you get the y-coordinate of a point on the black line. The learnbot couldn't answer me...
In my opinion, there are still two reds, but perhaps one is partially hidden by the black one... For each of the 17 factor values, what is the minimum and maximum defect rate?
Regarding the black curve, I think I understood it by asking the learnbot.
I'm doing tests with very, very simple examples to better understand what JMP is doing (1000 runs)
Example 1: Y=X^2 with X following the N(5;1) distribution, TolInf=13 and TolSup=53
Example 2: Y = X1 + X2, where X1 follows the U(0;10) distribution, X2 follows the U(0;50) distribution, TolInf = 20, and TolSup = 40
Thank you in advance for your help.
