Kate Milano joins JMP as a Senior Associate IT Software Developer
Manager: Andy Zhou (@andyzhou)
Location: Cary, NC
Start Date: May 1, 2026
Please help us welcome Kate Milano to JMP!
Kate was born and raised in Durham, NC, and attended North Carolina State University (NCSU), where she majored in Engineering. She took a Six Sigma class at NCSU, where she was introduced to JMP for the first time. After graduating, she moved to Denver, Colorado, and worked at a startup as a frontend developer. In that role, she wore many hats and touched just about everything tech-related.
She moved back to North Carolina about a year and a half ago and joined SAS on the Retail Technical Support team before recently transitioning over to JMP. Kate is excited to continue learning and growing in this new role and to collaborate with everyone here.
Outside of work, she has a Doberman pup named Stella who keeps her very busy. She also recently got engaged and is in the middle of wedding planning. In her free time, she enjoys baking and staying active, whether that’s playing pickleball or volleyball, going for walks with her dog, or heading to her Pilates studio.
