I have installed the latest version of the JMP Assistant off the Marketplace. When I attempt to run it, it gives me an error, telling me to install some python packages. I have attempted to do so but I still get the same error. Also, looking on the C-drive in the folder it names at the end of the error message, the appropriate packages look to be installed.
Any other ideas on what I can try?
thanks,
Charlie

??? INSTALLATION FAILED ???
The following packages could not be installed:
fastapi==0.135.3, anthropic==0.97.0, openai==2.30.0, google-generativeai==0.8.6
This may be due to:
- No internet connection
- Firewall blocking pip
- Incompatible package versions
- JMP 19.1.0 Python Python313 environment issues
Please install these packages manually using:
pip install fastapi==0.135.3, anthropic==0.97.0, openai==2.30.0, google-generativeai==0.8.6
Or check: C:/Users/chswhi/AppData/Roaming/JMP/JMP/Python/Python313/site-packages
Hi @charlie_whitman , Thanks for reporting. Not sure why this is happening--maybe some conflict with Defender. Suggestions:
1. Try running one more time to see if install happens.
2. If still no good, shut down all instances of JMP then rename or delete your local JMP Python folder (JMP will recreate a clean one from scratch when relaunching). The path for this folder should be: C:\Users\chswhi\AppData\Roaming\JMP\JMP\Python . Either delete or rename the folder. Then relaunch JMP and try running Assistant again. You should see all of the Python packages being reinstalled. If this still does not work, please send me the full JMP log and I can investigate further.
Thanks Russ! I deleted the folder and did a re-install and then it worked.
