What inspired this Wish List Request?
A customer interaction with Entegris Training and Education team. They want to standardize on STIPS for some of their training courses. They highlighted that it is currently "an absolute pain" to get to the sample data sets included in JMP. They highlighted the following steps required:
- Know the STIPS data is still shipped with JMP
- Know that it’s in its own directory in the parent “Samples" directory, not the Sample Data directory.
- Know that they can access that parent directory from the Sample Data directory.
- Open the sample data folder option from the help menu
- Go up a directory to access the samples parent folder
- Finally, navigate to the STIPS sample folder and open the desired table.

What would the value be to you and/or other users if this new feature is provided?
As the customer highlighted - it's currently quite difficult to access the STIPS data sets in JMP. This limits the utility of the training materials when they are provided to customers for use in in-person settings. This also makes a harder case for using STIPS as a method for expanding JMP usage within a customer.
