What inspired this Wish List Request?
Based on interactions with Arved Harding of Eastman Chemical, there is no capability to do multiple comparisons of standard deviations in Fit Y by X. He is looking at repeatability between labs for given measurements and wants to be able to compare the differences if any. We searched the platform to find something that would give a reasonable answer, but we did not find what the customer was looking for.
Please describe the new or improved feature or solution you would like to see.
The new feature would allow for direct multiple comparisons of standard deviation for a set of measurements in this case between multiple labs measuring similar materials. Minitab has this capability built into their analyses using Bonferroni confidence intervals.
What would the value be to you and/or other users if this new feature is provided?
This would be a great benefit for customers hoping to compare multiple standard deviations without having to leave JMP and go to another software like Minitab that already has the capability built in.

Yes, Minitab has this capability built into their analysis platform.
Will this impact a renewal, expansion, or adoption at a customer, and does this put an account at risk if we do not address this?
It may impact renewal for Eastman, but it is more likely a pain point that they would rather not have to live with if at all possible.
