A self-proclaimed "huge sports fan," Derek recently returned from Tokyo after catching the World Baseball Classic in person. When he isn't cheering from the stands, he’s likely off the beaten path; while most people enjoy a standard vacation, Derek prefers the backpacking life, with Nepal and South America currently topping his to-visit list.
Derek balances his high-energy travels with a deep appreciation for the arts, frequently spending his quiet time exploring galleries and museums. He also leans into his Otaku side, with a passion for ACG (anime, comics, and games). He is eager to bring that same level of enthusiasm and diverse perspective to JMP.
