Sami studied Economics and International Business in Heidelberg and has made the city his home ever since, shaping both his personal and professional paths in an academic, internationally minded environment.
Over the past four years, he worked in sales and later as a Project Manager at Celsius37, a company specializing in Oncology Information Systems. In his sales role, Sami conducted extensive market research, identified potential clients, and reached out directly to key decision makers. He successfully booked presentations across the Middle East and the EU with high-profile entities and ministries, including the Dubai Health Authority and the Saudi Ministry of Health.
During his time as a Project Manager, Sami led a major nationwide initiative in Ireland in partnership with the Irish government called the National Cancer Information System (NCIS) program. He oversaw the rollout of a unified digital platform connecting all 25 university hospitals across the country, ensuring strong communication, high client satisfaction, and reliable after-sales support. He also worked closely with hospital teams to develop new features and improve processes, helping them achieve their goals more efficiently.
Seeing firsthand how well-organized information can make a real difference, especially for cancer patients, strongly shaped his professional outlook. It deepened his belief in the importance of data and its power to shape the future, improve systems, and ultimately save lives.
Now that he has begun his journey at JMP, he looks forward to continuing his mission of unleashing the power of data and contributing to meaningful, positive impact in the work of professionals across different fields.
Beyond his professional life, Sami is passionate about travelling, exploring new cultures, and living abroad. Over the past decade, he has lived in Guatemala, Dubai, Greece, Turkey, and Lebanon, and has travelled to more than 25 countries, each experience enriching his global perspective.
Outside of spending time with his family, he enjoys reading, hiking, diving, and playing basketball, a sport he competed in throughout high school and university.
