At JMP, we spend our days building the tools that help the world make sense of data. But today, we’re pivoting the lens to the people behind the product.
It’s your creativity, late-night breakthroughs, and collaborative spirit that drive JMP’s success. Whether you’re coding the next big feature, supporting our users, or keeping operations seamless, your impact is felt far beyond your immediate team.
“I’m proud to work for a company that truly values its employees, a commitment established by our founders, Dr. Goodnight and John Sall,” HR Director Paul Mastropolo (@Paul-Mastropolo) said. “I’m incredibly thankful for our employees and the contributions they make every day, from driving product innovation to delivering value for our customers and supporting one another across all roles. Their dedication and care for each other are what make JMP such a special place to work.”
Employees gathered on March 4 in Cary for the first of many Collaboration Wednesday lunches (read more about those here). In acknowledgement of Employee Appreciation Day, JMP founder John Sall (@John_Sall) and CEO Jon Weisz (@Jon_Weisz) took time to welcome staff in attendance and share their appreciation for all JMP employees.
In our own words
Our culture is best described by those who live it; here is what it means to our team to be supported and valued.
"I feel truly appreciated at JMP because of the thoughtful ways the company recognizes and supports its employees. I love hanging out with other JMPers in the Copenhagen office, whether it’s a kayaking team building, Christmas lunch, or just a casual lunch together. Getting company swag is also great! It really makes me feel like part of a welcoming community of like-minded people. My contributions to serving our customers are acknowledged through thank-you notes from colleagues and collaborative projects across teams. Additionally, having the flexibility to manage my work and daily tasks in a way that suits me best makes me feel trusted and empowered." Krzysztof Jozefowicz (@Krzysztof)

"JMP has a culture of continuous growth for the organization and its individuals, and we help each other do so. That’s what I value most about JMP." Sachiko Ishibashi (@sachiko_ishibas)

"What makes JMP special is its culture of trust, respect, and authentic appreciation. Even after many years, I still feel seen, supported, and valued at JMP." Kathy Walker (@kathy_walker)

"The fact that John Sall tries to recall the first name of each employee he interacts with at social occasions is a strong indicator that the JMP leadership values each employee's contributions – at JMP, you’re not seen as a headcount but as an individual." Falco Kronmüller (@Falco)

Thank you for bringing your best self to JMP every day.

Amazing team!
Sometimes we get so busy, moving from one big thing to the next, that we forget to stop and reflect. Thank you for this reminder to do just that: to think about the great successes we've had together, and to say thank you to every JMPer behind every great thing we do. And there are a LOT of them. THANK YOU!!!
As I reflect back on my prior experiences in industry before coming to JMP (now over 4 years ago), I feel immensely blessed to work for this amazingly intelligent, talented and empathic organization of people. Thank you @ John Sall for laying down the foundation of a truly amazing work culture and to our leadership team for your commitment in sustaining it.
