You spoke, and we listened: The latest employee survey made it clear that more frequent, transparent communication from leadership is a top priority for you.
In response, CEO Jon Weisz (@Jon_Weisz) is excited to announce the launch of Company Quick Takes, a new series of short webcasts designed to bridge the gap between our larger quarterly and Kickoff meetings. These mini-webcasts will each focus on a single, specific topic to keep you in the loop on the projects and decisions shaping JMP’s future.
Your voice, your topics
While leadership has several key updates planned, we want this series to be driven by the issues that matter most to you.
If you have a suggestion, please share your ideas for future Quick Take topics via the Feedback Form. You can also find the request link in the Helpful Links section of the home page.
Quick Take #1: Streamlining our systems
The debut episode of the series features Jason Romanos (@jasonnzl), Senior Director of Finance, who addressed one of our most talked-about internal processes: procurement and vendor onboarding.
Romanos provided an update on our transition to ZIP HQ, our procurement system. While the initial setup was designed to ensure we remained compliant with SAS’ rigorous security and vendor controls, the Finance team recognizes that the first iteration felt "heavy" and time-consuming.
Watch the Quick Take to learn about:
- Eliminating redundant forms and leveraging existing SAS documentation so you can skip the "ground up" onboarding for known vendors.
- Redesigning the intake process to allow for concurrent reviews and reducing the number of early-stage approvals required to get your projects moving.
- Simplifying the workflow for established vendors with spend under $50K, making the process significantly leaner.
- How Finance can handle the often-confusing vendor portal setup on your behalf.
It was great to hear about the continuous improvement changes coming to ZIP!
Thanks again to the teams for listening and reacting.
I’d be interested in hearing an update on SAS IPO readiness, and JMP’s intentions around any IPO readiness.
