JMP Public changes for 2026
JMP Public is evolving to better support how we demonstrate and share JMP Live with customers and prospects.
JMP Public exists to:
-
Showcase what’s possible with JMP Live
-
Support a culture of data‑driven decision making
-
Give users a place to publish, explore, and learn from JMP analyses
To support these goals, we’ve:
-
Added new spaces
-
Set clear, time‑bound retention limits for Staff Demos and the new Try Me! space
-
Clarified what types of content belong where
In practice, that means:
-
Discoveries and analyses are easier to share, revisit, and reuse across teams
-
People can learn from curated, high‑quality examples (Featured, Repository, Industries, Events)
-
Anyone can try out JMP Live by publishing their own content in a low‑stakes, short‑retention space (Try Me!)
Spaces going forward

Use this space for: content tied to specific events or campaigns.
JMP Internal
Staff‑only content for JMP employees.

-
Keeps staff content organized, accessible, and easy to navigate
Use this space for: internal‑only demos, experiments, and work‑in‑progress content that should not be public.
Repository
A maintained library of core, reliable examples.

Access stable, vetted examples and valuable, reusable insights
-
Anyone can view; logged‑in users can download reports

Staff Demos
Retention: reports older than 6 months are automatically removed
-
Showcases interactive dashboards and reports created by JMP staff
-
Highlights JMP Live capabilities in realistic demo scenarios
-
Anyone can view; logged‑in users can download
-
New content is added regularly, while older reports are pruned to keep the space current
Use this space for: demos you want to use with customers in the near term, but which don’t need to live indefinitely (remember: 6‑month retention).
Try Me!
Retention: reports are automatically removed after 1 month
-
Open space to experience JMP Live firsthand
-
Anyone can publish—log in to JMP Public and share your own dashboards and reports
-
Ideal for quick tests, experiments, and learning how publishing works
-
Content is short‑lived by design, keeping the space fresh
Use this space for: low‑stakes experimentation and one‑off examples. Don’t use this space for content you’ll need to reference later.
Retirement of “All Users” space
The old All Users space will be removed, including all content stored there.
-
If you have anything you want to keep, download it by 2026‑03‑31.
-
If you have content that should remain available on JMP Public, submit a request at jmp.com/request
The old All Users space will be removed, including all content stored there, after 2026‑03‑31.
How to submit a request for JMP Public
These spaces need a request: Featured, Repository, JMP Events, and Industries
-
Go to http://jmp.com/request
-
Select ‘Publish a JMP Public report’.
-
Provide a summary.
-
Include a link to the report and specify the desired space for publication.
-
Add any other relevant details.
-
Hit submit.
Your request will be reviewed, and if approved, you will gain access to the space for publication.
What SEs should do
To make the most of the new JMP Public structure, SEs should:
-
Clean up and migrate existing content
-
Review anything you have in the All Users space, which is being retired.
-
Download anything you need to keep before 2026‑03‑31.
-
Decide where it belongs going forward:
-
Long‑term, reusable examples → Repository
-
High‑impact, polished demos → Featured or Industries
-
Event-specific content → JMP Events
-
Internal‑only materials → JMP Internal
-
Short‑lived demo content → Staff Demos
-
Use the right space for new demos
-
For repeatable customer demos you’ll use over time, publish to Repository, Featured, or Industries as appropriate.
-
For time‑bound or “latest and greatest” demos, publish to Staff Demos (remember: 6‑month retention).
-
For quick tests, experiments, or learning how JMP Live publishing works, use Try Me! (1‑month retention).
-
Plan around retention policies
-
Don’t rely on Staff Demos or Try Me! as permanent homes for content.
-
If you have a demo you’ll need long‑term, ensure there is a copy in Repository or another appropriate persistent space that you or your team maintain.
-
Request preservation of important content
