The APXJ kick-off marked an important milestone for our region; a moment to come together, reconnect, and look ahead with clarity and energy. For many of us, it was the very first-time meeting in person following the APxJ re-organization, making the gathering especially meaningful.
Day 1: Reuniting as one APxJ team
The kick-off opened with managers introducing their respective teams, putting faces to names, and bringing our newly shaped organisation to life. Leaders across all departments shared a high-level review of the past year, reflecting on achievements, lessons learned, and the journey that brought us here. This set the stage for a forward-looking discussion on our 2026 plans and strategy, giving everyone a clear sense of direction and purpose.
The afternoon shifted gears into team building, where competitive spirit met good humour during an indoor golf session. A friendly mini-competition quickly revealed that most of us are enthusiastic, but decidedly novice, golfers. Laughter echoed throughout the venue as shots went astray and unexpected “techniques” emerged, leaving everyone with light-hearted memories.

The day concluded on a high note with a scrumptious Thai dinner, where conversations flowed easily, and connections deepened over great food.
Day 2 and 3: Sharing, learning, and aligning for 2026
The next two days were dedicated to substance and strategy.
Senior Vice President of Sales Michael Scruggs (@Michael_Scruggs) outlined a clear mandate for 2026 -efficiency, agility, and urgency - empowering teams to shape their own trajectory toward these priorities.
Each team presented their business reviews alongside their 2026 plans, offering transparency into priorities and challenges. In parallel, the Sales Quarterly Business Review took place, adding further depth to our discussions.
These sessions created valuable opportunities to share best practices and learn from one another, reinforcing a culture of collaboration across functions and markets.
Beyond the presentations and numbers, what truly stood out was the chance to meet colleagues and counterparts from across the region. Building these personal connections is essential as we work in tandem toward our shared goals. There was a strong sense of unity and reassurance, reminding us that while our markets may differ, we are all moving forward together.
The APxJ kick-off was more than a meeting; it was a reaffirmation of who we are as a region: connected, collaborative, and committed to succeeding as one team.

You can feel the team spirit just by seeing these pictures! Well done APxJ.
