Update of Distribution platform according to Table Filter

What inspired this Wish List Request? When filtering a table with Table filter, the analysis from the Distribution platform are not updated.

After each filtering you have to click on "Sync to Data Table Changes" to update the Distribution outputs.

 

Please describe the new or improved feature or solution you would like to see. Having the Distribution platform updated at each filtering of the table (like most of the other platforms do)

 

What would the value be to you and/or other users if this new feature is provided? It will be clearer for the customer to see the distributions corresponding to the data table.

 

Is this an external customer request? Some customers don't understand why the distribution platform is not updated while for example graph builder or fit Y by X are.

Is there a competitive software package that has this feature or solution that we should be aware of? I don't know.

Will this impact a renewal, expansion, or adoption at a customer, and does this put an account at risk if we do not address this? No.

There’s actually an option to set Automatic Recalc for Distribution in the same menu where Sync to Data Table Changes appears (Redo → Automatic Recalc). Would using that option address what you’re looking for? If you prefer something more permanent, you can also turn on Automatic Recalc in your Preferences for the Distribution platform so it’s enabled every time you open it. Let me know, thanks!
