What inspired this Wish List Request?
Trying to generate reports onto JMP Live with a 'journal style' of text descriptions and boxes and noticed that Text Boxes with <<

As a workaround you can copy-paste the original report script to sort this, but this would be something better set by default and would make it a more appealing story when demoing report generation in JMP to JMP Live.

This is the view of the JMP Live report after manually correcting the Text Boxes in the regeneration script.
What would the value be to you and/or other users if this new feature is provided?
Smoother and more organised reporting of results in JMP Live without manual intervention of the regeneration script, which most customers won't know/be willing to change. Getting the appearance right adds to the analytical workflow and particularly for the sharing results which JMP Live focuses on.
Is this an external customer request?
Is there a competitive software package that has this feature or solution that we should be aware of?
Will this impact a renewal, expansion, or adoption at a customer, and does this put an account at risk if we do not address this?

@dieterpisot any particular reason why JMP Live removes wrap and width?
I completely agree with Ben, this limitation is annoying. When I designed the JMP Live activities, I also encountered this limitation, which forced me to adapt my original design. That's why the text is only displayed in a small column to the right of the activities; there was no other choice.

Hi @Ben_BarrIngh! Would you be able to test this with the latest build of JMP 20, or send me your script and I can test it for you? Some updates were made by development and we want to see if it has improved your request.
This will be addressed in JMP 20.
@Sarah-Sylvestre , I've tested this out in multiple forms to see if the change has been put into JMP 20 or Live 20, can confirm that publishing from JMP v20 (2027) to JMP Live 20 works:
