Trust is the bedrock of every successful relationship. At JMP, to be trusted means we must have an unwavering commitment to the security, privacy, and reliability of our platform and all our partnerships, including our staff. In 2025, we took significant, proactive steps to strengthen this core pillar across our technology, operations, and community.
Reinforcing our foundation of security and trust
In 2025, we significantly reinforced our security posture to ensure JMP remains a dependable platform.
Raising the standard for vulnerability management
We implemented formal vulnerability remediation SLAs (Service Level Agreements) based on industry benchmarks to reduce time-to-fix and ensure consistent security update discipline across all product areas. We also transitioned to a predictable, industry-standard monthly security release cadence to accelerate delivery of security fixes and give customers clear expectations on secure update availability. These improvements help us respond more rapidly to emerging threats and help keep customers protected.
Secure change-governance in Development
By enabling Jira issue-level security (a mechanism in Jira that restricts access to tickets concerning security vulnerabilities) within our Atlassian ecosystem and implementing permission management across other utilities within our development pipeline, we’ve ensured that sensitive development work, such as source code, architecture, and security tasks are tightly controlled and accessible only to the right teams. Doing so protects intellectual property and upholds least-privilege access principles.
Transparency through disclosure and the Trust Center
We boosted transparency by launching two vital customer-facing resources:
- Vulnerability Disclosure Portal: A single source for advisories, CVE information, and secure update guidance.
- JMP Trust Center: An easy way to access documentation on secure development practices, data protection commitments, and compliance programs.

Advancing compliance readiness
Our operational compliance matured significantly, preparing JMP for greater global assurance. We completed a comprehensive internal SOC 2 gap assessment and have officially engaged third-party auditors to begin formal review in the new year. This milestone accelerates our path toward a recognized attestation of our security controls. In parallel, we worked on enhancing our privacy program to meet GDPR expectations and strengthen stewardship of customer data.
Stronger together: Supporting the organization
Our internal teams worked tirelessly to build the operational infrastructure and community that allows JMP to function as a trusted, independent entity.

- Began analyzing data from the Manager and Employee Experience survey to shape action plans for 2026.
Stronger together: Supporting our users
User Enablement
In 2025, User Enablement successfully solidified JMP's role as a trusted partner for the global community by focusing on three key areas: reliable support, deep knowledge, and active collaboration.
The reliability users depend on was demonstrated by customer-facing teams successfully handling an average of over 600 technical support cases per week with consistently high satisfaction rates. JMP was established as an authoritative resource and a trusted source of knowledge by expanding educational content, including the deployment of dozens of new Statistical Knowledge Portal (SKP) pages, which drew significant views.
Furthermore, the dedication to advanced learning, demonstrated through the Mastering JMP series, reinforced trust in expert-led education, evidenced by the fact that 96% of the thousands of global participants reported satisfaction with the training. This confidence extended into academia, where the flourishing adoption of the platform resulted in more than 160,000 JMP Student Edition users, showing that educators trust JMP as an essential teaching tool.
Finally, a trusted community continued to blossom – the JMP User Community grew by more than 16,000 members, and the thousands of solutions viewed weekly, alongside the 51 User Group events hosted worldwide, underscore the trust users place in each other and the JMP platform as a dependable resource for shared learning and insights.

A ‘word’ from leadership
During the April Reunion, JMP leadership defined their teams' yearly priorities using a single, impactful word. Throughout this series, we provide a progress report on these departmental goals:

JMP General Counsel Anissa Knox (Compliance): “JMP Legal is still very much focused on our compliance initiative, and I am happy to report that we are making good progress. In 2026, we look forward to continuing to balance business concerns with the importance of implementing a ‘best practices’ compliance program.”

Business Operations Senior Manager Kate Fitzgerald (Efficiency): “Since Reunion, Business Operations has worked with Legal and Digital Operations so that we can now handle routine contract amendments, including entity replacements and adding DSP/outsourcing language. This reduces the burden on Legal and streamlines customer turnaround time. In 2026, we will continue to focus on efficiency and further streamlining our processes.”
