What inspired this Wish List Request?
First Solar has 250+ refreshes to manage across 4 JMP Live instances and there are no tools to help manage those refreshes. They have admins for each site and have developed best practices / schedules for the refreshes but at the end of the day, they need a global management tool that allows them to gain visibility into the refreshes that are taking a long time, reports that are not being consumed, who is creating the refreshes and how to delete or adjust the refresh schedules in batch.
Please describe the new or improved feature or solution you would like to see.
A tool within JMP Live that an admin can use to:
- see which refreshes are taking a long time
- which refreshes are on certain frequencies
- who owns the refreshes
- how many reports rely on each refresh and how often they are being used
- modify refresh schedules in batch (delete or adjust frequency)
What would the value be to you and/or other users if this new feature is provided?
First Solar's biggest pain right now is managing the performance of their reports to update. This limits their expansion and use of JMP Live.
Is this an external customer request?
First Solar, Matthew Brown (matthew.brown@firstsolar.com)
Is there a competitive software package that has this feature or solution that we should be aware of?
Not sure
Will this impact a renewal, expansion, or adoption at a customer, and does this put an account at risk if we do not address this?
Yes, this could impact renewal, expansion and adoption.
