Connecting to Lucullus databaseHi,
A customer asked for advice to connect to a Lucullus database through their REST API.
Did anyone heard of Lucullus before or has a customer connecting to it?
In the community I only found general REST API examples but non about connecting to Lucullus. I'm fine with pointing them to it, but wanted to make sure there is no better advice or recommendation.
Thanks,
Martin
Re: Connecting to Lucullus databaseHi Martin,
I had not heard of Lucullus before, and have no guidance on connecting to it. I would point the customer to HTTPRequest examples, and also point out that if they want to unzip a data connector example like S3 from the Marketplace there may useful code in there as well. It looks like Lucullus uses Oracle under the covers, so if the customer can get to the Oracle database they could potentially just use an ODBC driver as well.

Re: Connecting to Lucullus databaseThanks Brian, this is very helpful (all three "not heard of", "Oracle based", and "data connector examples in Marketplace").

I did find some additional information on page 6 about third party integrations. The marketing sheet does indicate the database is Oracle.
One might be able to contact the vendor and clarify what is an unmatched driver referenced by the asterisk (*). Or if they have any recommended prebuilt integrations available between JMP and Lucullus PIMS.
