For JMP, the commitment to being approachable is the promise that every member of our community, from new users taking their first steps to experienced pros, can easily connect with our software, resources, and staff. This year was defined by key efforts to remove barriers – whether informational, technical, or cultural – to ensure our entire community can engage, learn, and succeed seamlessly.
Here is how JMP prioritized approachability across our products and internal community in 2025.
Redesigned jmp.com and LearnJMP
We made significant structural changes to how users find and interact with JMP online, ensuring a faster, more intuitive experience globally. These efforts make JMP easier than ever to approach.
-
The redesigned jmp.com went live in February and is focused on establishing a strong, standalone brand presence. This significant update was driven by the need to ensure JMP feels approachable to every visitor, while also providing a faster, more streamlined user experience. The site’s independence from legacy SAS systems allows the JMP web team greater agility and control to tailor the platform and reinforce a cohesive brand presence.
-
The entire LearnJMP space was redesigned specifically to help users find resources more quickly. Content is now more intuitive and organized, with a new structure enabling improved searching, filtering, and navigation. Whether seeking a quick tutorial or a deep dive into an advanced concept, this update makes learning highly approachable by ensuring the resources are highly useful and easy to access.
Software approachability and WCAG alignment
Our commitment to approachability is woven into the development process, ensuring that the power of JMP is available to the widest possible audience:
VPAT and WCAG alignment
Following the strong foundation laid by SAS, JMP proactively publishes a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) with each software release. This transparent documentation details our alignment with the globally recognized Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), reflecting our dedication to these important standards and our approachability promise.
Inclusive features
JMP software offers alternative color schemes that empower users to customize the visual presentation to their needs and incorporates textual alternatives for certain visual content. These features demonstrate a growing embrace of inclusive design principles within our development process. JMP’s efforts to improve support for assistive technologies like screen readers and keyboard navigation enhance the robustness and maintainability of the automated testing framework. This groundbreaking work provides a strong foundation for future advancements, paving the way for a more accessible and user-friendly JMP for everyone.

Fostering an approachable internal culture
We learned that Senior Legal Counsel Sheila Spence has hiked Machu Picchu in her Get to Know feature. We believe an approachable company environment is vital for both internal innovation and external relationship building.
In March, we successfully relaunched the beloved Get to Know series, which is designed to bring us closer as a community and shine a light on the incredible talent and personalities that make JMP such a unique place to work. It’s a chance to peek behind the curtain and discover more about the fascinating people you work alongside, humanizing the JMP experience and making colleagues more approachable. We feature interviews with JMP employees from across departments and locations, diving into their roles, their passions, and those fun, quirky details that make everyone special.
The series was strategically relaunched prior to JMP Reunion to:
- Reconnect with familiar faces: Learn what your colleagues have been up to and rediscover shared interests.
- Meet new team members: Get to know the fresh talent joining JMP since the last time we all met in person.
- Gain a deeper understanding of JMP's diverse roles: Discover the breadth of expertise that drives our success.
- Build excitement for Reunion: Foster a sense of community and anticipation as we prepared to gather in person.
The updated series humanizes the JMP experience by connecting staff and sharing personal stories. You can find all Get to Know stories using the Get to Know filter label in InsideJMP News.

A ‘word’ from leadership

Senior Vice President of Global Sales Michael Scruggs (Growth): “To achieve growth in 2025, we needed to increase revenue and profit, expand customer usage of JMP Live, evolve our go-to-market model in the Americas, and navigate difficult transitions in APxJ. I’m proud of what we accomplished in 2025 – proving our ability to grow even in the face of complexity and disruption. As we move into 2026, we need to capitalize on this momentum and scale through efficiency, maneuver with agility, and accelerate with urgency. We will measure true progress not only in financial results but in how our people strengthen their skills, adapt to change, and lead with passion. We will hear more on these themes in the new year, but for the next few weeks, all our focus must be on closing 2025 out as strongly as possible!”

HR Director Paul Mastropolo (Fine tune): “This concept continues to evolve and is never truly complete because we are always striving to improve, even in little ways. Data collected from the recent employee survey will be instrumental in fine-tuning our already great programs. This will also help us to identify and focus on areas of opportunity, ensuring continuous improvement across the company. Looking ahead to 2026, I anticipate this process of refinement and enhancement will make JMP an even stronger organization."
