When you launch JMP (or JMP Pro) and complete email address verification, you may see the following JMP warning: "Authorization not confirmed. To start a trial, visit jmp.com/trial" (JMP 18) or " does not currently have authorization assigned. Please contact your JMP software administrator to request access. To start a trial, visit jmp.com/trial" (JMP 19). The following JMP warning can occur even if the email address has been authorized by your software administrator.

Also, if you start JMP on a machine that is not connected to the network, the request code may start with a hyphen (-) instead of the product name such as JMP or JMPPRO, as shown below.

*The request code in the image above has been partially masked.
This issue occurs when some files are missing from the JMP (or JMP Pro) installation folder. For example, this can occur if you install JMP (or JMP Pro) to the Windows Desktop folder, and then delete some of the files used by JMP (or JMP Pro) from the Desktop after the installation is complete.
Solution Decision
If this occurs, uninstall JMP (or JMP Pro).
To uninstall JMP (or JMP Pro) on Windows, open the Windows Control Panel, view by small icons, click Programs and Features , select the product name, click Uninstall , and then follow the wizard to uninstall .
After the uninstall is complete, reinstall JMP (or JMP Pro). During the installation, do not change the installation folder to the Windows desktop folder. Unless there is a special reason, we recommend that you proceed with the installation using the default folder as shown below.

For JMP 19, the default is C:\Program Files\JMP\JMP\19.
For JMP Pro 19, the default is C:\Program Files\JMP\JMPPRO\19.
