Looping FDEHi all,
has anybody ever successfully tried to loop FDE?
A customer wants to loop it to optimize settings using different target functions. The problem is, when FDE is scripted with the "Load Targets" command, it will always bring up the window for the user to select a target function.
Does anybody know a way around this?
Thanks,
Florian

Re: Looping FDEHi @Florian_Vogt ,
I believe your issue is related to how variables are handled within expressions in JSL.
For your reference, please check the page linked below or review the JSL code example.
https://community.jmp.com/t5/JSL-Cookbook-Archived/Insert-one-expression-into-another-using-Eval-Insert-Eval-Expr/ta-p/48998
Names Default To Here( 1 );
dt = Open( "$SAMPLE_DATA/Functional Data/Weekly Weather Data.jmp" );
col = :ID;
col_value = {"Bristol, TN", "Corpus Christi, TX", "Denver, CO"};
For( i = 1, i <= 3, i++,
value = col_value[i];
Eval(
Substitute(
Expr(
obj = dt << Functional Data Explorer(
Y( :TMAX ),
X( :Week of Year ),
ID( :ID ),
Data Processing( Load Targets( _value ) )
)
),
Expr( _value ), Eval Expr( value )
)
);
);
I hope this helps!
