I have a non-normal data set where I need to plot the process capablity:
In practice, the data is allowed to range from Zero to 0.175 but, to plot a Capability, I find I need to either set an artificial Target or set the Target to zero and use -0.175 to +0.175 as the tolerance range.
I have tried using some of the non-normal distribution types but none quite seem to match the data set that I am working with.
My statistical knowledge is limited as almost every other parameter I monitor has a normal distribution with even ±X tolerance ranges.
Can anyone help? Thanks!
