JSL for using tags at platform launchWhat is the JSL code to use a column tag at platform launch? The tag can be selected when launching via point-and-click, but the saved jsl code references the column names rather than the tag.
I was surprised that this was not easy to find in the documentation or training materials -- it seems like an important use case. Simple example: Tag a bunch of columns, then run a distribution on them.
Re: JSL for using tags at platform launchLooks like you can use Column Tag(colTagName) where colTagName is a string. This worked when I tried it with Distribution, Fit Y by X, Manage Limits and Process Screening and it works. Not sure an example exists in the Scripting Index but it works in a similar fashion to Column Group.
Re: JSL for using tags at platform launchSorry, I shouldn't have been so vague. Here's a more thorough explanation:
Names Default to Here(1);
dt = Open("$sample_data/semiconductor capability.jmp");
dt << Define Tag( "First Five", Color( "Light Orange" ) );
Column(dt,"NPN1") << Set Property( "Tags", {"First Five"} );
Column(dt,"PNP1") << Set Property( "Tags", {"First Five"} );
Column(dt,"PNP2") << Set Property( "Tags", {"First Five"} );
Column(dt,"NPN2") << Set Property( "Tags", {"First Five"} );
Column(dt,"PNP3") << Set Property( "Tags", {"First Five"} );
distPlt = dt << Distribution(
Y(Column Tag("First Five"))
);
bivPlt = dt << Fit Y by X(
Y(:PNP3),
X(Column Tag("First Five"))
);
pScreenPlt = dt << Process Screening(
Process Variables(Column Tag("First Five"))
);
