Redesigned LearnJMP is just the beginningWe're excited to announce the launch of a redesigned LearnJMP site. This update is a crucial first step toward making our educational content more intuitive, organized, and aligned with how modern learners navigate online resources.

This initial relaunch, spearheaded by the Digital Experiences team in close collaboration with JMP Education, provides the foundation for a streamlined and personalized learning environment. The collaboration also focused on creating a framework that helps learners quickly identify where to start and where to go next.
The Digital Experiences team worked with Senior Analytics Software Tester Mark Bailey (@Mark_Bailey) on a choice design process to gather early user feedback. This insight guided our initial decisions, ensuring the redesign truly addresses real-world learner challenges. We will continue to iterate and refine the experience based on how users engage with the new site.
What’s new?
The primary goal of this first phase is to re-architect the site's content structure. Here’s what you and JMP users will notice:

The entire LearnJMP space has been redesigned to make content more intuitive and organized. “The new Learn JMP area was modeled after other learning sites users might be familiar with, such as LinkedIn and MasterClass, to enhance user comfort and ease of use. We want learners to easily grasp where they are and what they should do next,” User Community Manager Ryan Gilmore (@Ryan_Gilmore) said.
“The site also features updated styling to more closely align with the JMP branding of our other web properties,” he added.
The new structure also enables improved searching, filtering, and navigation. This means users can find the specific resources they need faster, whether they're looking for a quick tutorial or a deep dive into an advanced concept.
Looking ahead
This launch is only the first phase. "This architectural change paves the way for future enhancements," Analytical Education Senior Manager Ruth Hummel (@ruthhummel) said. "The new framework will support the expansion of learning paths and more relevant topic recommendations. Our vision is to empower learners to find the right resources faster and more efficiently."
In addition to expanded learning paths, the updates will focus on refining the visual design and introducing new ways for learners to discover and engage with content. "We’re excited about this step forward and look forward to building on this foundation to provide the best possible learning experience for the JMP community!" Hummel said.
This is phase one of a modern learning experience
JMP NewsUser EnablementRe: Redesigned LearnJMP is just the beginningGreat. It's so important for our customers to be able to find the resources that they need. We have so much good stuff, which can be overwhelming. This makes it simple and clear.
Re: Redesigned LearnJMP is just the beginningPerfect timing for my team, as we have some new hires starting next week and will be looking for Learn JMP resources.
Re: Redesigned LearnJMP is just the beginningIt looks and feels very "easy" for the user to find the information they need quickly. Well done!
Re: Redesigned LearnJMP is just the beginningI do like this page and the resources on it. However, the previous page acted as a landing page to a lot of other resources, like the Learning Library, Mastering, Courses, Deep Dives and so many more. I don't see these options now. How do we direct customers to other resources than those on this page?
Re: Redesigned LearnJMP is just the beginningHi @monique_lander, those bits of content are still included in Learn JMP, they just aren't separated out from each other. If you look in the "Advanced Data Analysis and Modeling" topic area, for example, and filter to see only the "5 minutes or less" content, you'll find (currently, anyway) 26 items that match your filter for that topic area. In this case, they all have the "video" icon, so these are all the content for that topic area that has a video and should take less than 5 minutes to view. Most (probably all) of these are from the Academic Learning Library. Click on "ARIMA Modeling" to see that this is one of the Academic One Page Guides (aka the Learning Library or the Minute Guides). This will look different than the jmp.com/learn format for this same content. We (thanks @gail_massari!) duplicated that content into the Community in order to maximize our search and recommendation functionality as well as to make auto-translation an option. If you want to send people to the fancy site, jmp.com/learn, rather than having them find the content through Learn JMP, then just keep that shortcut url in mind.
Similarly, you should be able to find Deeper Dives and Mastering by filtering on content that is "Video" and either "5 to 30 minutes" or "longer than 30 minutes." (However, I see that for this topic area, the Deeper Dives that are pinned in the "Recommended Learning Content" section at the top are not showing up in the filters for all topic content, below, so something is not tagged correctly here. I'll look into it.)
Courses are very easy to find: find them in the Recommended Learning Content for any topic, or filter by "Format" = "Course."
I hope this helps! We hope to make this framework usable to find exactly what you are looking for. We are considering making the "series type" (Mastering, Courses, One Page Guides, JMP Tips, Deeper Dives, ...) into a filterable drop-down, but that requires insider knowledge about the names we give to these things. For now, we are hoping that we can teach people to search for similar types of content using the filters we have. Please let us know if there are any use-cases (e.g., "I want to point to all of the ___") that you find challenging, and feel free to give us suggestions on what you would like to see added/removed/changed in Learn JMP.
