19.0.2: security fixes only till 11/6/25 • 19.1: all changes require code review – approval begins 12/11 • 20.0: open in main • 20 EA1: 1/22/26
Welcome to the JMP Development Update for October 24, 2025!
We have now passed the Feature Freeze date for JMP 19.1. Story items represented on the JMP 19.1 Features page are now complete. Please remove 19.1 from the Planned Version field of any remaining undone Story items in Jira with Planned Version = 19.1 that you own. In the remaining time prior to 19.1 code freeze, please fix bugs in 20 first and let testing verify, then integrate the fixes to 19.1 and mark the item test-ready again for 19.1. We will reach JMP 19.1 code freeze in early January.
For those of you who attended Discovery, please add your notes here. (Sorry that the link in my morning email didn’t work for some reason!) Thanks to those who have contributed to this page already. It sounds like the conference went well and there were many questions and suggestions. I see that the JMP 19 Python integration is getting a lot of attention from customers, both in stand-alone JMP and JMP Live!
Finally, just another reminder that the DevOps team is working to clean out the //jmpsrv01/users area, so please review the files in your folder (if you have a users folder) and delete old files that you no longer need. Personal files and data containing PII should not be kept on jmpsrv01. If you are a manager and notice a former employee still has a user folder, please make sure that you review, clean up, and move any files that you still need over to your own machine and remove their folder from the server. Thank you!
