19.0.1: released 10/14/25 • 19.0.2: security fixes only till 11/6/25 • 19.1: all changes require code review – approval begins 12/11 • 20.0: open in main • 20 EA1: 1/22/26
Welcome to the JMP Development Update for October 17, 2025!
JMP 19.0.1 was released on Tuesday, 10/14/25. This was our first monthly security release and delivered numerous third-party library updates for all products. Thank you to everyone who was involved in creating and deploying 19.0.1! You can find more details about the updates here on the Security Bulletin page in the JMP Trust Center.
The JMP 19.0.2 branch, CI and nightly builds, installers and other infrastructure pieces are now up and running. Security champions have permission to push third party library updates to the branch until we reach 19.0.2 Security Freeze on 11/6/25. We expect to release JMP 19.0.2 in mid-November.
We have just four working days until we reach JMP 19.1 Feature Freeze at the end of the day next Thursday 10/23/25. Please review your items on the JMP 19.1 Features page and make sure that Story items that impact downstream teams like testing, doc, L10N and marketing are captured there.
FYI that file storage in the users area of jmpsrv01 is nearing 80% of its capacity. JMP development team members often use this area as a transient storage space and as a quick way to share files with team members, but often large files get left in user folders for weeks or years without further attention. Development teams are reducing usage of jmpsrv01 storage space in anticipation of some day in the future when we no longer have access to this server. So we’re asking for your help cleaning up your files in the Users folder.
- If you are a manager and there are folders for former employees on the server, please move the contents to your OneDrive if they’re still needed. If the files are old, please note that you may need to set a retention label in OneDrive before you move them so that they do not get immediately deleted.
- If you have personal files stored on the server, please remove them ASAP. This area is accessible to anyone and should not contain any personal files (photos, etc).
- If you have old files in your user folder that are no longer needed, please delete them ASAP.
- If you need to keep work-related files currently stored on jmpsrv01 but they do not need to in a shared space, please move them into OneDrive.
Thanks to Shannon Leslie for sharing the October 14, 2025, product changes for Atlassian products!

- And more!
Contact Shannon Leslie or any of the other JMP Atlassian admins with questions. Also check out our JMP Atlassian Q&A Teams channel, where this and other Atlassian information will continue to be shared.
Also, thanks to Shannon L for helping encourage JMP attendance at the All Things Open conference at the Raleigh Convention Center earlier in the week! The conference focused on open source, AI, observability of software systems, software process and tools. SAS Viya had a booth and there were a few speakers from SAS (including Dr. Ruth Akintundo and Brett Smith), as well as a talk by Ed Summers, formerly of SAS and now head of Accessibility at GitHub. Here’s a picture of some of the JMP attendees in our JMP gear on Tuesday!
